Truro Tree People
Truro is about an hours drive from Halifax and used to be an old town with nice streets lined mostly with huge old elms. Then came Dutch Elm disease and the town decided to keep certain trees and a local artist carved them to represent the past in Truro. A most remarkable effort in recycling !
Most of the carvings relate to the place where they are sited.
